East African guidance for clients in Nigeria

Nigeria has some of the oldest and most varied spiritual traditions on the continent, and many Nigerians grew up with them close at hand. In fast-moving cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Ibadan, though, people often want guidance that is private, unhurried and away from neighbourhood talk.

Some clients come to us because they want a voice from outside their own circle. Others are curious about East African practices, or have searched for an African witch doctor in Nigeria and want someone who will explain things honestly. Dr Abdul & Mama Nangobi speak with Nigerian clients by WhatsApp and phone, so no visit or introduction is needed.

We will not pressure you or make dramatic claims. We listen, explain which traditional practices may relate to your concerns and what they involve, and leave the choice with you.

Practical details for clients in Nigeria

Helpful things for Nigerian clients to know before reaching out.

  • A two-hour difference

Nigeria keeps West Africa Time (UTC+1) all year, two hours behind our East Africa Time. We confirm your consultation in Nigerian time so the difference never causes a mix-up.

  • Calling Kenya

Our number, +254 11 7686597, is Kenyan. Calling it from a Nigerian line is charged at international rates. WhatsApp messages and calls use data or Wi-Fi, which is usually far cheaper.

  • Fees, in writing first

Where a fee applies, the amount, the currency and the payment method are confirmed in writing before anything begins. If you would like it explained in naira, just ask.

  • Stay safe from impersonators

We never ask for your BVN, NIN, bank PIN, card details, OTPs or passwords. Anyone requesting these while using our name is not us.

  • Prepare a few questions

Find a time when power and network are steady and you can speak without interruption, and note down what you most want to ask.

How online consultation works

  1. Step 1: Send a message

Reach us on WhatsApp or call +254 11 7686597. Saying that you are in Nigeria helps us confirm times correctly.

  2. Step 2: Share what you would like to explore

Tell us which service interests you and, if you wish, some background. You decide how much to say.

  3. Step 3: Agree a time in Nigerian time

We settle on a slot that suits you, confirmed in West Africa Time, and how we will speak: WhatsApp call, message or phone.

  4. Step 4: Understand the practices involved

We explain the traditional practices that may relate to your concerns, what they involve and their limits, so you can choose with clear information.

  5. Step 5: Follow-up, where useful

If a further conversation would help, we can arrange one. You are never obliged to continue.
